Time

The time seems to never pass
This thought seems to last
When will I move on from you
And go back to the life I'm used to

Time seems to be against me
It's what can set me free
But time has a weird twist of hate
And maybe when its time it'll be too late

Time is what kept me thinking of you
I saw that time let you move on too
The time ticks away every minute of the day
And it won't let anything stop or get in its way

Time will always move on
Even after life itself is gone
It will never stop or rewind
And your love I lost I must find

Poem of the Day

poet George Gordon Byron

It is the hour when from the boughs
The nightingale's high note is heard;
It is the hour -- when lover's vows
Seem sweet in every whisper'd word;
And gentle winds and waters near,
