Time And Space For Love Poem by Barry Pook

Time And Space For Love

A friend of mine found love once more,
In the thicket of work, his daily chore,
Quite by surprise, no warning, pleasantly unexpected,
Away from the screen her words weren't neglected.

The feelings grew he never knew existed,
Enwrapped before in the stars, his vocation persisted,
Now a new constillation down here on earth,
Caused reflection and a time of total rebirth!

Down went the keyboard, the facts and hereafter,
Time was made for joy and laughter,
What was now his fresh passion that prevailed?
Following the glowing bright star that was Gail.

Time passed by sharing, caring for each other,
Then out of the blue, talk of another,
An addition he told a long-term trusted pal,
Then sure enough came sweet young baby Cal.
