Time Line Poem by Dan Brown

Time Line

Immovable.
Yet so unconstrained.
You stand so deadly still.
Yet you fly with the grace of a swan.
You can be lost so effortlessly.
Yet to gain, can take a lifetime.
Immovable.
Yet it is said you travel across many eras.
You can be done.
You can be bought.
You can be experienced.
You can be spent together.
You can be spent alone.
You have so many faces,
in so many different races,
that it is often difficult
to keep track of you.
You can be less. But
You should be more.
Yours is up,
the Grim Reaper is at the door.
