Time Of Day Poem by Otatade IseghohiOkojie

Time Of Day

You looser
You spineless jerk,
You haunted my shadow,
Drove me bezerk
You wanted my eyes,
You needed my smile
You craved my affections
You'd linger a while
Passing, pausing,
a ghost in time
How lurid were you
How stupid was I
To think
a narrow minded
Insignificant spec
Had weight on his heart
My brain needs a check
in
You gutless wander
You don't get to win,
The sheep you are
a lamb you'll rot
Wise as a child
that gurgles in tot
Burp the baby,
give him his juice,
Witness the slubber,
this brat will produce
And you call
yourself man,
by day by night,
I've seen all your
angles,
Broken, distorted
You wanted my eyes
You begged it
You thwarted
I should have
watched clocks,
I should have pressed
time
Avoided this villain,
This enemy of prime
