Time To Sit Down Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

It is time to sit down on this side of
the river!
For, the landlord and the landlady are now asleep;
Watching the flow of the river and to flow with my mind,
Then comes the Seventh Day for the Sabbath.

Tides of the river!
With the sense of entitlement;
Knowing what to do when i get back home,
To give bansnas to the monkeys and carrots to the rabbits.

Words of wisdom! !
Works of life;
With the love that i share in the land,
Presenting my mind to the world.
