When will one be happy or sad?
When will all ease sorrows and be glad?
When will all lost darkness then see the light?
And forget the pain one has in the heart?

For only time will tell, heals a scar of an aching heart
For time alone knew when to heal the wound of a world torn apart
So that one day one will know the path
Towards a happy heart.

And only time will tell to satisfy a longing soul
Gone astray in search for inner peace
‘Til one ceases to breath -
In response to Heaven’s call.

For only time will tell
When the sun sits on me
Surrender a soul
For God to see.
