Tin Roof Dancer Poem by Dorsey Baker

Tin Roof Dancer

Its the moon and the stars
night off!
the thunder is roaring
the lightning is flashing
the dogs are barking
the rain has just started
and its coming down
really hard
a small wooden house
with a tin roof
is surrounded by
tall trees tall grass
and a private fence
a man has climbed
up on top of the house
and he is dancing
on the tin roof
I hope he don't stumble
and fall off!
