I can laugh
but it won’t change the fact that I’m hurting.
I can smile
but it won’t change the fact that I’m crying.
You can say you still love me
but that won’t change the fact that you loved her too.
You can say you’re sorry
that doesn’t change that fact that you still hurt me.
You can say you love me
that won’t change that fact that I hated you.
You can wish for it to be the way it was before
but that doesn’t mean it will

But then it looks like it did mean that it would.
