To Be A Bird
I wish to be a bird for a day
For the wind to take me into nothingness
Feel weightless from the load I carry
I'd go where the sun was shining
To warm the coldness in my heart
Somewhere far away from all the pain
Fly free just for a day
be a bird to cross the earth and moon sun and galaxies and down to our den satisfying our inner soul is a nice idea, a dream of every poet! take off your imaginary journey- my wishes
Wishing you sunny days to put warmth in your heart and washing off the cold and darkness from your life.
I can't imagine that if I loved it, I could be a bird for just one day but like this poem return to it whenever I want. Come back and then do it again. Great subject. Something I often think about.

Fly free just for a day... a beautiful but deeply sad poem. Somehow, I can sense an even deeper sadness beyond the words you have written. A 10 and to my favorites.
