To Do That Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

To Do That

Why would I want to,
Be discouraged.
Why would I want to,
Self defeat.
Why would I want to,
Share my issues.
With everyone I meet on the streets.
And why would I want to,
Feel less equal.
Why would I want to,
Moan more woes.
Why would I want to,
Show my wounds.
Looking pitiful seeking gloom.
And why would I want to,
Drag my burdens.
Why would I want to,
Live like that.
And why would I want to,
Prove to anyone,
What I choose they may not do!

Why would I want to do that.
Tell me why would I want to do that.
Why would I want to do that.
And to just to do that.

Why would I want to do that.
To choose,
And, to do that.
Tell me why would I want to do that.
Done to do that? !
To do done just to do!
