To Dream In Reality Poem by Sylvia Thomas

To Dream In Reality

Rating: 5.0

For me,
To lie on the bed is to lie to myself.
I'm running, running away.
Hiding, hiding from reality.

For me,
To fall asleep is to fall in love.
I've forgotten about reality, about life
I'm just in a dream.

For me,
To awake from sleep is to awake to a nightmare,
Life is too tough, too hard in this world.
I'm reaching my limit.

But,

For me,
You're my reality in my fantasies.
You're the key to the locked door,
You're my dream when i'm awake.

The writing style with which this poem has been written is really one of a kind as unpredictability is what is reflected and surely it adds a glitter to your poetry.
