To Go Forward Back Up Poem by Cindy Wyatt

The way to go forward is to back up first
and press the restart button
to get your batteries charged up
and put new ammunition in your gospel gun
going back to the time when your heart was so tender
that your all on the altar was laid
and everything to Jesus you did surrender
having a burden in your heart
for souls to be saved from a burning hell
praying they would trust in Jesus
and instead in heaven dwell

As time goes by since when we were first saved
it seems we get weighed down and choked
with the cares of this life and enslaved
all the while forgetting life is just a vapour
and we should be living for things eternal
where we will be forever with our savior
that we'll have some trophies to lay at his feet
from a life spent for his service and complete
Oh, send a revival Lord Jesus and let it begin with me
leading souls to you and being a fruitbearing tree

Matthew 13: 22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
