To Make A Dream Come True Poem by Herbert Dry

To Make A Dream Come True

Yesterday I met you on the
street
You looked another way our eye's
didn't meet
Eyes to shy to look
Mouth to shy to speak
You are my dream to make come
true
Now is the needful thing now I must
convince you
Which star in heaven above do you
want me to bring
down
If you want to see the dark side of
the moon I will turn the
moon around
These things I say to you we both
know I cannot do
If it were in my power this very
hour I would do all these things
for you
I can give you love it's height
above the stars
so bright
There's know need to turn the moon
around we can sit together in the
warmth of a full
moon night
I know we must wait awhile to make
my dream come
true
Just because we are only twelve
years old doesn't mean I don't
love you
Grown up's call it puppy love but
to the puppy
it's real
When we get grown up our love
we can seal
