To My Daughter Poem by David Self

To My Daughter

We may not be together everyday, but I think about you in my mind that's where you stay.

You don't talk to much, or open to say but I love you regardless every single day.
You are in my mind as you progress through life, and I always will be there with life's big strifes.

Don't matter what path you walk I will be right here, ups and downs you have no need to fear.

You are my daughter and will forever be, if we talk and laugh, or frown and cry. You will be my little girl I will always abide.

No day will pass where you are alone, all you ever have to do is pick up the phone. I will be right there best I can. Being your dad and the best of a man.
