To My Dearest Isabel (For Isabel Burton) Poem by Harrison Bishop

To My Dearest Isabel (For Isabel Burton)

I know a girl with tonnes of talent,
We're in the same course at the Uni we went,
From movement to acting, singing and voice,
I'd have to say she's my number one choice,
My dearest Isabel, there's something I have to say,
It's through this poem, there's no other way,
We were both in different shows of Jesus Christ Superstar,
I'm telling you I think you're great and will go far,
Your singing was tops, ten out of ten,
Never been any one as cool as you and there never will be again.
