How can I ever repay you
For all you have given me?
Your life you gave so freely
As if it were only for me
At times I am so ashamed
For all the hurt I have caused
My desperate cries for help
When all seems to fall apart
I pray to become stronger
More grounded in your word
For without you in my life
All would be totally lost
To see the eternal city
And hear the 'well done'
A city that is lighted
By the radiance of the 'SON'
To behold your glorious face
As you speak such sweet peace
To know I am forgiven
And free
Yes finally free...
