To My Science Teacher, Cik Yati (: Poem by dee ann

To My Science Teacher, Cik Yati (:

No hate surrounds you, only love,
Sorry, but I have not much money and not much to give,
I hope this simple poem I made is good enough,
For you to read when you're bored or when in grief.

I have to say,
Sometimes I wished I know better about Science,
So that you won't scold me for my weird way of thinking,
But I wished I know not much about Science sometimes,
Because I miss your babbling talk and scolding. (:

I need to ask,
Does it reminds you of my tears when you scold other students?
Does it reminds you of my disappointment when you see other students starting to fail and fail in examinations?
Did you see my eyes when you look into the eyes of other naughty little God's creatures?
Did you see my face in most of the wrong answers?

No, I don't intend to remind you of why I cried, and most probably why you cried,
But, hey, look at the brightside.

Remember when we laughed together,
giggled so loud all the way,
Remember the smile we craved on our faces,
the smile that I still remember until today,
Remember the day I got my results,
I was so surprised that I cried, because I got 5A's,
Remember the moment I thanked you,
then, I shook your hands and gave you a hug, filled with grace.

Yes, seriously I appreciate every single moment you sacrificed,
And I will always pray for you, so that you'll stay patient and courageous
in facing all the circumstances in life.
