To The Saints Of Today Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

To The Saints Of Today

Some just remember the Cross
But forget the empty grave,
For His Death was not a loss
He is risen, and we are saved!

Graveyard clothes neatly laid
The angel said 'Go and tell! '
Our sins forgiven and duly paid!
He's our Victory over hell!

He lives in us by the Spirit,
His Word made alive on this earth!
He works in us His purpose to meet
We are sons of God by the new birth!

Rejoice then, you saints of Jesus!
Proclaim to all the Good News!
We were bought by His Blood so precious
This Truth the world can't refuse!
