After a comma of tobacco
fell from my op-shop 'Inferno',
I sleuthed that the French say tabac -
probably with a silent c.
A tabagie
is a place that reeks of its smoke -
with a capital t, what this Aussie
will sometimes now call Paris.
1 - " A Tabac is a shop licensed to sell tobacco products in France And Spain" ...so says Google i'm not 'getting' this poem and, unfortunately, my dinner plate has been placed, full, on the dining table, so i 'must' run. i tried to find meaning of " comma" here, but i ran out of time. (cont.)

(cont.) 2 - call it what you will, i never got 'into' tobacco, but now reside, temporarily, in an old 'tobacco barn' in the mountains of North Carolina (a state of the USA, north of Florida; you Aussies do know of Florida, i suppose?) . bri :)
