Even though time passes
We remain together
Changes happen suddenly
Or slowly over time
Accepting
Helping one another
Feeling each other's pain
Helping build each other's dreams
Loving all along
Embracing each quirk
And loving every part
Holding through the best times
Even through the worst
Building our lives with both our hearts
Sharing every moment
Thanking GOd each day
For the love he sent our way
Our children growing knowing love
Living as best they can
Learning never seemed so pleasurable
As when we lean together
Teaching together
Instilling grace in our children here and to come
Our lives like a beautiful melody to those who know us best
I humbly ask you to take my hand
I ask knowing your intent
Pure are your feelings for me
Just as mine for you
Please love with your heart always
I make this oath to you
I will be here for you through whatever life may bring
At your side I will forever stay
Loving you is all I desire
Our lives now belong to one another
As one we now enter the world
Together we are now whole
