Tolerance (Can I Get Some) Poem by Darrell A. Roberts

Tolerance (Can I Get Some)

Rating: 5.0

Taking time to hear the thoughts of others,
Open the soul to see through others eyes,
Learn stories of our sisters and brothers,
Edifying each person is the prize.

Remain with roots planted firm in the ground,
Always stay strong with a nonviolent mind.
Now share your story with such a sweet sound,
Carefully choose words to uplift mankind (and womankind)
Ever focus and do not fool around.

Ever have a heart of humility,
Caring for others and not being cruel
Nurture the mind set of tranquility
Always keep cool and make patience the tool

Radiate tolerance like the sun shine
Engage each soul with a true and pure heart
Live life with love connect to the Divine
One must endure like the Earth from the start
Tolerate things like a tree that’s the line.
