Tomorrow
It will come whether we want it to or not
Because in the end it doesn't matter what we want at all
Tomorrow will come
The sun will set and then come right back up twelve hours later
Regardless of our feelings
Have you ever heard the saying tomorrow's another day
A day that you can start over
and the sins of yesterday will be washed away
What a joke
That's nothing, but a lie they tell you to make you feel better
Yes I guess you could say tomorrow is another day
But in reality that makes no difference
It doesn't matter if tomorrow is another day at all
Because yesterday will always be right under today
And tomorrow will always be right after today bringing false hope
Yesterday will never go away at all
It will always be right there haunting you
Torturing you until you can't bear it anymore
But yesterday isn't the only thing that can haunt you
What about last week
Last month
Even last year
They're always there underneath today
And tomorrow
And next year
They will never leave
No matter how much you want to forget it will never be possible
So go and tell someone tomorrow's another day
And that they can forget yesterday
You'll at least be half right
Tomorrow is another day
But only that

i disagree. you dont have to be chained down and haunted by the past. the past can be forgiven and somewhat forgotten. that heartache, pain, regrets, or whatever it is can be taken away. ya, you cant erase the past, but you can learn from it and use what you've learned in the future. the past can be forgotten and those chains can be broken. actually, they already have been. Christ broke them and freed us from them. He gives us hope for another tomorrow. good job on this though. your feelings are very well expressed in here. good job. just keep your head up high. itll be ok. and keep up the good work on writting poems.
