Too Bright To Be Touched Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Too Bright To Be Touched

This process has progressed,
Far beyond the gossip stage.
And with evidence not confessions made.
For those who know,
The difference between treason.
To then argue in debate,
Whether betrayal has been committed.
Or if one who sits in a position,
To lead.
Done to do on a daily basis,
Is mentally fit to permit...
Disastrous decisions to make 24/7.
Done to do to continually expect,
A heightened enlightenment.
From one who has yet to express,
A being emotionally connected...
To what has already affected,
Everyone shown to make it known...
This is not a process,
For one self anointed as being 'chosen'.
And somehow believes,
Has been bestowed by God...
With overwhelming wisdom.
Ego.
And a narcissism too addicting.
Everyone should feel themselves fortunate,
To be in the presence,
Of someone like this...
Not only oozing with brilliance.
But also an enlightenment that glows.
From within.
Much too bright to be touched.
Or indicted...
For corruption.
That has publicly obstructed justice!
