Too Concerned With Trivialities. Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

Too Concerned With Trivialities.

Rating: 5.0

Someone who sits in my soul
is telling me that I am
too concerned with trivialities.

My life is losing itself
in trifles.
I am evading
my chief responsibility.

(This is an experience in prayer)

An average person is the voice and concerns of self. But the Self is more concerned with the evolutionary journey. One is the pretender, another the true one. Prayer is the time to listen deeply to the inner Self. A thought provoking piece.

This poem resonates with me. There are times that we focus more on insignificant things in life especially with respect to accumulation of material things. An insightful poem well conveyed.
