Too Phenominal Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Too Phenominal

It is too phenominal.
To believe it can be kept hidden.
Such rapid the changes today being made.
It is too phenominal to keep this hidden.
The benefits of conflict.
And why confusion exists to permit it.

There is a growth process.
Blooming from a womb.
Like a butterfly does,
After being a caterpillar.
Emerging from its cocoon.

The beauty of humanity,
Is undergoing renewal.
Like a butterfly emerging from a cocoon.
Different from that caterpillar.
Once familiar at one stage of growth.
Now on another.
Noticed for its beauty.
Noticed for what conflict,
And confusion has produced.

It is too phenominal.
The change.
Too phenominal an existence,
Once known not to remain the same.

A growth process,
Benefits from conflict.
A growth process leaves behind old wounds.
Like a butterfly does,
Witnessed to emerge from being cocooned.

Too phenominal it is to keep hidden.
The change.
The blooming.
And the beauty emerging.
From conflicts and confusion.
Humanity has had to go through.
Like all living things do,
To ultimately beautify.
Done to fly higher.
Higher with clearer widened eyes.
