Touch And Presence Poem by David Aslin

Touch And Presence

Each night I leave your side
I left you there,
I’ve nothing to hide.

Every time within your presence,
My thoughts and soul are still and free.

What is it then, that’s within my head,
That makes my shoulders bend,
My heart, beats, but tis no flow,
Elated and lost at all but once.

Until again within your touch.
