Touch The Earth Poem by Sally Plumb Plumb

Touch The Earth

Shall I shoot arrows into the sun?
Like man it drains me of my energies.
Both are super natrulness.
For here lay I on the warm earth
amongst blood gowned poppies,
weakened by the elements of life,
a part of the very soil.
The earth absorbs me and we two are one.
