Transformation Poem by Caleb Crow

Transformation

As I look upon a new day,

Lingering here for some type of change.

I hope I can conquer my fears,

Demanding life be rearranged.

Flush with second-rate emotions that are blind,

Whether it is love or rage.

So much complexity in my life,

Even at this young age.

I want to breathe fire,

I need to fight back.

Lost in such benign pretence,

Trapped in lie-riddled fact.

Give me what it is you hide,

Let it be common knowledge.

I am tire of this game,

The way your image is polished.

Speak not of your disappointment,

I will listen no longer.

My thoughts have forever flourished,

I will grow wiser and stronger.

I want to breathe fire,

I need to fight back.

Lost in such benign pretence,

Trapped in lie-riddled fact.

Now I have become the Dragon,

Tremble in the wake of my greatness.

Honor me with your good word,

For I know you hate this.

Give to me what it is you lost,

Your ability to hope.

And I will show you something awesome,

I will show you how to cope.............
