Trapped Poem by crystal cadet

trapped
caged like an animal
searching for something
that will never b true
you get a chance
try to run
then get shot by a gun
feel dead but so very alive
crying
wishing to never have you in my mind
mornings come again
and the rain begins to fall
you burn inside
no thought at all
the bars are rust
gotta another chance to go
RACE
but still cant get throught the door
a stranger walks by
to let me in
i look up
and say im finally free!
