Traveller Like Me Poem by Soumyendu Halder

Traveller Like Me

I’ve come on the zebra crossing.
I've seen your face.
I'm thinking that no place is safe nowadays,
you’ve disappeared!
I’ve told you that i’m closing my eyes
i'll never open
please hold my hand and take me with you!
Your sight is more powerful, I don’t know how!
You’re coming
it’s your touch in my body
this feeling relieves me;
and my indifference – that has come from knowing you!
Few lanes here don’t want to listen
they’re amazing, dressesd with new tar
tell me to stay with them!
Then you disappear again.
Why have you made me such a traveller?
Don’t want to see the time after the launch?
Well, come on the specific axis path then
let me keep my hand on yours.
