Tribute To Father

My dry lands were turned to meadows,
Deserted lands as Springs of water.

Shout praise to the Almighty
Shout praise to the LORD Jesus!

My failures were made successes,
My weaknesses were made strengths.

Shout praise to the Almighty
Shout praise to the LORD Jesus!

My empty vessels were filled with abundance,
My inadequacies were filled with surplus.

Shout praise to the Almighty
Shout praise to the LORD Jesus!

My sickness was cleansed by your healing hands,
My thirst was quenched by your words.

Shout praise to the Almighty
Shout praise to the LORD Jesus!

Thanks dear Shahzia Ma'am for your wonderfull lines on my poem. I know that this poem may not portray the Love of LORD JESUS CHRIST for mankind and in particular to me. Yet I thought to pay my tribute to Heavenly Father through these lines. (Report) Reply

a nice respectful poem about Lord Jesus, a great holy Prophet of The Almighty, once i read a quote about Him:
“I am fallen, flawed and imperfect. Yet drenched in the grace and mercy that is found in Jesus Christ, there is strength”

Poem of the Day

poet Wilfred Owen

All sounds have been as music to my listening:
Pacific lamentations of slow bells,
The crunch of boots on blue snow rosy-glistening,
Shuffle of autumn leaves; and all farewells:
