Trick Or Treat Tale Poem by Ima Ryma

Trick Or Treat Tale

It was the first year Mom and Dad
Had told their kids that they could go
Trick or treating, and very glad
Were the three daughters this be so.
But what costume would each one wear?
The kids talked of this 'twixt and 'tween,
And lots of thoughts each kid did share
How to dress up for Halloween.
At last decisions were made, and
Mom helped her girls to make each one.
Costumes came out better than planned,
Dressed up, the girls were set for fun.

Cowgirl, ballerina and witch,
Was hard to tell which squirrel was which.
