Trifling To Think Trivial Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Trifling To Think Trivial

Trifling to think of them trivial.
Insignificant and mundane.
Now reminisced as the good years.
Boring and remembered to remain unchanged.
What a difference a couple of decades make.
To come to realize,
Craze is the 'norm' these days.
Gone is common sense.
For many the use of it offends.

Truth and facts are smothered by deception.
And thieves are elected to represent,
The interests of their constituents.
Leaving people to choose their own delusions.
As long as they have been authorized,
To delude in public and proof of it.
With a notorized certificate,
Approved and signed by a doctor.
Who also happens to be a lawyer.
