True Happiness Poem by Randy McClave

True Happiness

Happiness Is when you raise your kids right
Teaching them that truth is the greatest might
And for them to believe in their own sight
And teaching them when they should and shouldn't fight
Teaching them there is indeed sin
But, it's not attached to a race or a different colored skin
And in this world of both women and men
Teach your kids that we all are kin.
Teach your child to read and understand the Bible
Before you give them a gun or a rifle
Instead of going to the NRA and becoming tribal
Go to a church and listen to a Christian recital.
Them being hateful and unruly must be fought
Them being a tormentor or a bully should not be sought,
Teach them to never to be someone they are not
Raise them to be as Jesus had taught.
Teach them not to judge or to hate
If you don't you are damning their own destiny and fate
In life there is more than fate
And in the end for them, either Heaven or Hell will wait.
