True Love Poem by Ada Ruby Gonzalez

Your probably thinking that i'm crazy and that i don't know what i'm saying, but i do. You think that just because i'm fourteen i can't love someone, but your wrong. Although i'm very young...i know i have found my first true love. I know how to love someone and i know what it means, but for him and i...it's not easy with soo many obstacles. I know that love is not a game or something you can play with. Yet the people who are suppose to be my friends brag a lot because he talks to them. They want to make me jealous and they try to cause me pain, but no matter what they say or do, it NEVER works. With one look into his big brown eyes...you fall in love, with his touh your whole body shivers and with every kiss your lips quiver. When your with him it feels like your in a dream, a world where only the two of you can be together in happiness with no one to stop you.He loved me once supposedly, but once we broke up...the line of communication died and now well...i don't know if he still loves me or if he hates me. Either way... i still and will always love him. For what we had was something special, something unforgettable. If he finds another girl, i'll still be as happy as i am now. I'll say to myself: 'That sure is one lucky girl.' Now you still think i'm crazy for doing this, but thats what real love is. If you love someone...learn to let them go. As the saying goes, 'Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.'And if he's happy...i should be too.
