True Man's Luck Poem by Moth Harris

True Man's Luck

I drove to Las Vegas felt lucky that night
I drove passed a cop car something wasn't right
I was going ninety in a fourty five
maybe he was just too lazy to drive

There were bright lights and very flashy show girls
Pressed my luck at the tables found I had none
So I took my winnings that I hadn't won
Sped off down the strip and into the morning sun
