Trust Poem by Karim Hamade

Trust

Rating: 5.0

Trust, the last hope for me yet i can't seem to. Why, why is it that when i think i finally can it won't allow me. This unending curse of morality that ends too soon. If only i were a fly that can talk. Whisper truth to the liars and cheats. Conscience, it exists? For i have not seen it. The devil plays a role, major ego. Everyone loves yet not each other. Passion for lust, lust for power, where is equality? Consideration of what of, whom, why, how? I continue to ponder this plague called humanity. When you think your right you lie, when you can't believe, then it must be. Life's too short, so understanding the truth i would rather not try. I would need an eternity, and still oblivious i would be. So i live my life as no other can, for me by me and forget trust.
