Truth And It's Reality Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Truth And It's Reality

Rating: 5.0

Some who have avoided,
Consciousness to live fictioned lives.
Are not yet prepared emotionally,
For the effects of truth and its reality...
Arriving to threaten delusions they've kept.
With others also showing,
Signs of becoming overwhelmed by stress.
Envisioning their lives lived to fantasize,
Have not too much time left.
Before taking away in a slow fade,
Those false impressions they have made.
Revealing their masked faces.
They depended upon when in masquerade.
While socializing in inviting places,
In which Halloween is celebrated...
Each day and month throughout the year.

Truth is part of who we are, some stick to the truth some don't. Great poem.
