Truth And Loyalty Poem by Randy McClave

I deserve someone who will be truthful with me
With faith and respect and always honesty, 
The way that I was raised and the way my child was taught
That is the type of person for whom I have always sought.
I want that someone who will respect me for who I am
For my belief and my character I want them to truly give a damn,
The way that I am is how God did mold
So, please respect me as how a rich man respects his gold.
I want that one person who will forever treasure my heart
Who becomes sad and lonely if we do ever part,
My heart it gives love and the help as if was brand new
If it wasn't for my heart, I wouldn't help, or love you.
I want to be loved and cherish and never be abused
I want to be needed, and never tricked or used,
Life is to short for cheating, heartbeat and hurt
And I do not want to ever again be stepped on like dirt.
I want that someone who for me will always be there
With their love and support and also their care,
I want the same person to always need me and to hold me tight
And to always love and hold me, even after a fight.
I want that one person to stay and to never leave
Though we might be different, in them I want to always believe,
I am not asking to be treated or seen as royalty
I though do deserve truth and love and loyalty.
