Life does not move exactly as you want
"River water shall not be stopped" so we are taught
Never look at rising sun with naked eyes
Stay in race and honestly try

Some of the things go exactly opposite
Even if you are strong and united
It may not cause much harm
If, in time, you are warned

It seems life is staging ground
Here everything is found
You can be cheerful
And be sad and unsuccessful too

It needs vision and hard labor
To earn name and honor
Always keep high tempo
To gain time with word"go"

If you are fully prepared
Everything can be dared
Ife can be made smooth
With so much truth in it
