Trying To Quit Poem by Ima Ryma

Trying To Quit

I wish I knew how to quit you.
You are a source of stress and strife.
Somehow my dependency grew
Until you took over my life.
Even when you are not around,
You're still constantly on my mind.
Compulsion and obsession hound,
It's hard to fight these two combined.
Professional help I have sought.
A very expensive shrink is
Having sessions with me a lot,
To give you up, you nasty biz.

I hope I can be a quitter
From addiction to you, Twitter.
