Twelve Legions Of Angels Poem by Pasquale DiMeola

Twelve Legions Of Angels

A wee corner of the earth to repose
Pledging all wars away to the distant
Until serenity blossoms and grows
Not tomorrow as this very instant

The thousand years of harmony and peace
Preceded by the clashing of arms
Beckons a bloodbath when everyone feast
In the calamitous trembling of storms

Unleash the cherubims heavenly haze
Wistful eyes of hope watch hate diminish
Your one in a trillion fleeing the maze
Showing evil our world is not finish.
