Twenty-Six New Stars From Newtown Poem by Velva Walter

Twenty-Six New Stars From Newtown

Twenty-six new stars were recently born to shine brightly in the heavens above;
With a host of angels guiding each toward God and his light and love.
They had no chance to say good bye to those they loved so much;
But, in the Arms of God they all dwell and feel his tender touch.
Each and every day of the life you live, they'll whisper in your ear;
That their love is always with you…throughout the coming years.
You'll see them in the flowers, snowflakes, sunshine and the sunset's glow;
In all things beautiful they'll be there as they linger always for us to know.
Farewell precious, loving, innocent and brave Angels!
