Twilight Poem by Shreya Jani

Twilight

In the twilight of the soul
seeking deep darkness
For the stars to come out
Or the breaking of the dawn
To vanquish the darkness

In the twilight of the soul
Gripped with fear
Then smiled in hope
Moved past it or
just waiting for Godot

In the twilight of the soul
gift of the present
Moving past looking back
Both become an illusion
Ah! Thus just twilight will do.
