Twist Those Words Not I Say Poem by Randy Bolante Jr

Twist Those Words Not I Say

In the most darkness part of the night

I'll die

With no moon or star to shine
No Sun no thing as bright

My Heart would then be filled with sorrow

For my homeland that's cursed I left

Gladly I lived
Gladly die
Now soothsayer O reader
Her forth mine words to pray

Reader look at the sky
Nothing happens thereby
But put me on the box or chest
Cover me with a Philippine flag
And a Philippine flag on it

And O reader with such accord
wrote on these heavy words

I'm just a mere Poet
Who served God and pray
And his homeland dark and gray.
