Two Facets
‘Desire' may desire things undesirable
For our heart can be feeble and mind vulnerable
Our saviour can then be the Gita, the Koran or the Bible
That teaches us to detest from things ignoble.
When ‘desire' desires things that are desirable
We should raise its tone, tenor and decibel,
So that the fog clears and the road ahead becomes visible
And we can reach our destination and make things possible.
This is just wonderful. A philosophical message put across so nicely and succinctly through the poem. Thanks for sharing.
