Two Halves Of Life Poem by Aya Amuro Zhou

Two Halves Of Life

Rating: 5.0

Even in the depth of sin, there is is the slightest pool of innocence.
In the light of innocence there is the slightest pool of sin.

In the darkest of the dark, there is a dim light.
In the lightest of the light, there is a brisk darkness.

In the greatest of knowledge, there is minimal ignorance.
In the greatest of stupidity, there is the smallest of knowledge.

In the darkest agony, there is small part of paradise.
In the heavenly paradise, there is a small part of agony.

In birth there is death.
In death there is birth.

In truth there is lies.
In lies there is truth.

In happiness there is the slightest bit of sadness.
In sadness there is an unnoticeable happiness.

In loneliness there is a slight sense of togetherness.
In togetherness there is a slight sense of loneliness.

In the depths of the sea, there is a small patch of land.
In the vast land, there is a small sea.

In the greatest of grace, there is little clumsiness.
In the greatest of clumsiness there is grace.

In broken cracks in healing.
In healing there are broken cracks.

In this world there is no such thing as something 'pure'
Everything in this world must be of two halves.
