两件事
Two news
 
今年发生了两件事
Two news this year
一件事是特普朗当选美国总统
One is Trump elected as the president of USA
另外一件事是古巴的卡斯特罗死了
Another is Castro of Cuba died
他们都是北美国家的领袖
They are all leaders of North America countries
美国是世界领袖
The USA is the world leader
古巴是叛逆的小国
Cuba is a small country of rebellion
 
两件事先后发生
Two news happened successively
还是找不到逻辑
Still no logic found
事实上这两件事的主角
Actually the protagonists of these two news
都是处于他们的人生晚年
All in late years of their life
一个进入其人生巅峰
One entered its peak
一个跌入其人生低谷
One entered its valley
都是北美人
All North Americans
北美老人
The old men of North America
 
这两件事与我关系不大
These two news have little to do with me
我最近很忙
I am busy lately
太太出差
Wife went to other country on business trip
孩子功课繁重
Children are busy with home work
就算是周末
Even during weekend
我必须将孩子送到有关的老师那里
I must send kids to those teachers
他们会教孩子我不能教的东西
They will teach them what I cannot
比如钢琴、冰球之类的
Such as piano, hokey etc.
 
然而这两件事四处传播
But those two news spread all over
好像寓意深刻
Seems has its meaning
一些争论很久的运动
Some movement has been discussed for too long
政治方面的争论
Discussions in politic matters
曾经让我热血沸腾的争论
Discussion use to get me excited
如今平淡如常
It is so normal as usual today
 
一个人当选了美国总统
A man elected as the president of the USA
一个人在古巴死去
A man died in Cuba
经常发生的事情
Something happening often
没有什么了不起
Nothing special about it
