i have gone through this before

and

have carefully considered it again,

like when i was in the streets yesterday

looking for a poem i forgot

to write down,

some things just don’t come back.

but a little girl was there

where that car is parked now,

standing in the rain

waiting for the bus.

but was that you? i don’t remember that too,

and it was only yesterday.

wait, i’ve got it!

the answer is anything but four

and i can remember the poem now,

but

i don’t want to write it anymore.
