Two Sad Eyes Poem by Max D. Hornbogen

Two Sad Eyes

Two sad eyes oh what could I do with these tears in these eyes, for those who will come and go I’ll know that in my heart that I will weep in sorrow for the one’s who will go. For if they pass I will know that deep down inside that I will cry with these two eyes. If I had eyes of a dove I would see the heaven’s and with these wings I would fly high above the moon and sing a song to you but with these eyes I will cry for you. In my heart I will always say that I love you and if you look into my eyes you might a find a tear that is just for you. In my time of childhood days I will always remember the faces, the moments and everything that I’ve seen in my life and I will shed a tear for the one’s that have passed but with our eyes we could see everything around us even the people that we love the most. Just remember your past and never leave it behind and you will always know that there is someone in your heart that you miss but now let these eyes lay to rest and lets go forward into the future.
